Why Legend Comfort Care Was Created

I started Legend Comfort Care because I was tired of hearing horror stories about seniors being ignored, mistreated, and forgotten in facilities that only cared about profit. For me, caring for others has never been just a job — it’s my purpose. After years of working in healthcare and serving seniors through the VA, I realized that so many families simply wanted one thing: peace of mind.

A place where their loved one would be seen as a person — not a patient.

A place that truly feels like home.


That’s why Legend Comfort Care was born — a family-style assisted living home built on compassion, connection, and comfort. Here, residents aren’t just names on a chart… they become part of our family. From personalized daily care to birthday celebrations, movie nights, outings, cooked meals, and warm conversations — everything is done with intention and heart.
